Here is your Miracle Marketing Message audio. This audio is designed to help you start your week with inspiration, reflection, positive intention and some smart marketing ideas!
I don’t know about you, but my nervous system cannot take all these spontaneous marketing events, teleclasses that pop up for tomorrow, deadlines that happen in less than a week.
It’s exhausting. It’s frustrating. It’s downright irritating.
As a busy and successful business owner, I just can’t and won’t adjust my schedule to the spontaneous whims of someone’s marketing.
It’s like a flash mob dance just happened in my inbox.
Endless announcements of “Teleclass tomorrow,” “Buy this program now or lose it forever,” and “Listen to this webinar at this time ’cause there’s no replays.”
There are some really interesting programs and information out there, but I don’t want to get caught up in the excitement of the moment and lose track of my own plans, the programs I am creating, and the clients I am following up with just because someone got a spontaneous idea or worse… they were rushed for time.
Their lack of planning is not my emergency. I refuse to be manipulated to someone else’s priorities.
Plus, the toll it takes on the nervous system!
This practice of short, quick pressurized marketing constantly puts us in high alert, taxing our adrenals, and activating this constant state of overwhelm.
I am committing to treat others how I want to be treated.
I would like to know when programs, trainings, and other big time and money investment programs are coming up so I can plan my commitments with more integrity and a fuller sense of showing up! (Instead of that commitment on the fly; then you kick yourself for joining a program you don’t really have time for.)
So I am committing to treating my community like I want to be treated.
So, you’ll notice I will have more long-range announcements. You can look at my website and newsletter and see a calendar for the year and match it to your own desires for your personal growth, training, and masterminds plans.
Hopefully, this will allow you to relax and actually be excited AND fully committed when you sign up to work with me. (Now THAT sounds like a win-win-win all the way around!)
And, yes, there will still be deadlines and incentives for early sign-ups. It’s true – there is nothing like a deadline to get folks to make a decision.
But I will honor those who want to plan ahead and be in the know about what’s coming up for the year. Plus, this allows for longer range payment plans so you can easily afford those programs… another way of alleviating stress!
Let me know what you think about this anti-flash mob dance marketing mentality. Do you dislike it, too? Does it overwhelm you? Take you off track? What do you think about long-range planning?
This year, how can you be more kinder and gentler on your own nervous system and that of your clients?
I hope this gives you some ideas for your creative thinking and planning for this year!
