  • Women who are now bearing the brunt of the financial load for their family because their partner was downsized, and it’s going on for a lot longer than expected (I know this one!)
  • Smart ambitious women who are married to men who aren’t as ambitious (but very lovable), and you are constantly battling your own financial demons to keep the household going
  • Highly committed, but time-stretched single moms who are so frightened they won’t be able to provide for their children, let alone have the business of their dreams
  • Creative women like you who have multiple responsibilities, big dreams and a lot of creative energy and yet suffer in silence and shame about your financial fear, lack of information or feeling just plain scared to face the numbers in your business…

I have heard all the stories in many, many variations…

…from the divorcing mom who hides money in the bottom of her closet in case she needs to have cash once she moves out,

…from the woman who orders the cheapest soup on the menu at lunch to save money

…from the woman who feels financially successful, but at the same time feels like she is drowning in an endless sea of rising costs of her mortgage, cars, groceries and gas.

The mindset, energy and beliefs about our motivation to make money, hold on to money, spend money, and invest our money is often constricted, twisted, small, anxiety-ridden and definitely, not life-enhancing.

Blaming the economy, the president, the marketing guru whose formula didn’t work just puts you in the place of being a victim.  It doesn’t change your situation.  It doesn’t give you energy to change anything.

But it goes beyond all of this…

I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of buying financial how-to books, only to feel like I don’t know enough (or have enough money) to take their advice.  And it all seems too masculine, tough-guy advice.

I totally respect practical information.  I’ve got lots of experience in corporate, my own business creating and maintaining budgets, projections, balancing books, and more, but no one ever talked about money to me in a way that I felt really comfortable.

Many of the women I talk to everyday want more practical information about finances and spiritual information about money mindset in their business.  But they want it in a way that appeals to their emotional and creative side.

Obviously, I’m not a CPA or a financial advisor, but I am a seasoned entrepreneur and former VP of Marketing (that means I created many, many budgets, projects and expense balance sheets).
